1st Communion Dates: 

• 1st Communion Parent/Child Retreat for (School & Religious Education): 
  • Saturday, April 20 10:00am- 11:30am

• 1st Communion Practice (students only) 10:00am Saturday, April 27 (Church)

• 1st Communion: Sunday, April 28, 2024   11:00am (Church)

Expectations for families participating in sacramental prep:

• Weekly attendance at Sunday Mass

• Attendance and active participation at weekly Religious Education class or Nativity Parish School

• Participation in sacramental preparation sessions Parent/Child Retreats

• Completion of parent/child home assignments

• Providing a copy of the child’s Baptismal certificate (if not baptized at Nativity)

• Participation in parent/child rehearsals if needed

• All candidates who have received the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist are encouraged to continue receiving the Eucharist weekly and to receive the Lord’s gift of forgiveness in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, when needed (a few times a year is recommended)
