Benedictine College Youth Conference. Bring your friends for a weekend away! Students get to stay in the dorms and meet other teens from all over the country who share their faith. 

 

BCYC Registration

We leave from Nativity parish at 4:00pm Friday evening and arrive back at 2pm on Sunday. The Youth Minister and VIRTUS trained Core Team young adult chaperons will be there to help make the event fun and lead students conversation and small groups. Here is the conference schedule from Benedictine's website.


BCYC ENCOUNTER is a true experience of Benedictine Spirituality

COMMUNITY Intentional small group time with questions and group leader tips to help your teens create strong bonds.

SIMPLICITY an experience of Adoration that will help teens encounter Christ in the Eucharist in a real and tangible way and launch them into a deeper prayer life

STABILITY teens will learn to pray from the Monks of St. Benedict's Abbey and be sent home with the tools they need to have a consistent prayer life (And Youth Ministers will get the tools they need to help them!) 

On top of infusing Benedictine Spirituality into BCYC Encounter, we are also tailoring the conference to Generation Z. While students will hear from great Catholic speakers, they will also engage with the Monks, our Missionaries, and each other to make Encounter an experience that is meaningful to them. We are workng to make prayer and their faith accessible and relatable to teens today in a way that no other youth conference is doing.
