We often associate our intimate connection with God in and through the celebration of the “Liturgy of the Church.” But do we make any intimate connection with God in and through the experience of God in our everyday lives, what the Jesuit theologian, Karl Rahner, calls the “Liturgy of the World?” These sessions explore the basis for prioritizing the Liturgy of the World so as to more effectively celebrate the Liturgy of the Church. The sessions examine why God’s grace and loving presence are found in the Liturgy of the World and its intimate connection with the Liturgy of the Church.
Reading material is provided for each session. The sessions will be facilitated by Biagio Mazza, Pastoral Theologian and Scripture Scholar.
All sessions are in the St. Joseph Room at Church of the Nativity.
